Unbelievable – 46″ LCD HDTV For $598 Plus Free Shipping

Walmart.com has the Sceptre X46BV 46-inch LCD HDTV for $598. Amazingly, that includes free shipping–a rarity with big TVs though you’ll likely have to add sales tax.

The same brand Sceptre X46BV 46-inch LCD HDTV is available in $699.99 at newegg.com

So, that’s one of the lowest prices I’ve ever seen on a TV of this size. OK, but is it any good? The 80-plus user reviews on Walmart’s product page average just over four stars. Similarly, the user reviews at Newegg.com are overwhelmingly positive.

From a spec standpoint, the X46BV certainly seems to deliver. It sports 4 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, a VGA port (for connecting to a PC), and an ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner.

This Sceptre 46″ 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV offers 1920 x 1080p resolution for crisp images from high-definition sources.

Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of the Sceptre 46″ 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV.
